Titanic A Journey Through Time

In my nonfiction book Titanic A Journey Through Time , It is about how the Titanic was built and who built it. Also who were the people that were on board the Titanic. The book also shows things that people found when they were discovering Titanic. In the book they show pictures of the ship when it is getting built. The author, William MacQuitty, shows how big the ship is and what they use to build the ship. The book also tells you all the five Ws, who, what, where, when, why. The book, has great information about the Titanic, some parts talking about what materials they have discovered under the ocean where Titanic had sunk.

On passage that I found interesting in the book is where the author talks about what materials they have used to make Titanic. But the first ship they have made was named the Olympian, but after they had found a large punched hole through the liners of the boat, this was caused during the departure from Southampton. Then so, they made some vivid details to the ship and changed the name to Titanic. Some of the parts they used for Titanic was one, on January 5,1910 it's two stern frame castings weighed 70 tons and it's height was 68ft 3in.Then on February 7, 1910 the boss brackets oh Titanic had arrived, and what these boss brackets can do is to support the new liner propeller shafts. Tragically, on April 21, 1910 Samuel Joseph Scott, only 15 years old had dies after a fall from Titanic hull. This is interesting to me because the author explains what things were made of and out on the Titanic. It also teaches me some new information I haven't learned yet. Also they include who had died in the Titanic when they had been building it.

Things I have learned that I will not forget in the near future is artifacts they have found in the Titanic. For example like a white pitcher, which belonged to Nautile’s collection baskets. Another is a cloth that was hand-sewn from a piece of canvas, and a marble sink, first class, a grey floor tile with a red insert, second class, plates. These things that they found were very important to them because they are things that people who lived back then on the Titanic used. They also have found a doer that linked to the forward port side D deck of the Titanic. I also won't forget how the Titanic would look because the author showed pictures of how the Titanic looked before it sank and after it sank. It also showed pictures of the boat when it was getting built.

  1. I liked the description about the artifacts. In your blog there are a lot of commas that is in between words "Time , It" also "it" is not supposed to be capitalized because it doesn't start a new sentence or is a proper noun. Spelling errors are common, also you should not you But to start a sentence. Otherwise good blog
